The tabi socks proposed by Sekizuka are made with carefully selected materials and tailoring, as beautiful accessories that complement footwear.
Made using fabric from a weaver who specializes in high-density fabrics, these shoes can be worn casually with everyday outfits and provide firm support for your feet.

The fabric is made from high-density cotton (parachute cloth) woven in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
By increasing the density by 5 to 10% and weaving it on a shuttle loom,
It has a plump thickness, but also has a moderate firmness and natural luster.

Because processing is kept to a minimum, the fabric loosens up and the texture improves the more you wear it.
Durable and long-lasting, these are the most suitable pair of Sekizuka tabi for everyday use.
It is recommended for a variety of outfits, including everyday kimonos such as tsumugi, cotton, and wool.

*Due to the characteristics of the material, washing with water will cause shrinkage of approximately 5 mm.
The more you wear them, the more they will gradually become comfortable on your feet.

We recommend hand washing.
First, gently remove dust and dirt with a brush, then wash gently with a mild detergent, pressing gently.
After rinsing thoroughly, squeeze the product between your hands to remove excess water. Do not squeeze too hard as this may cause the product to lose its shape. By squeezing the product between towels, you can remove excess water without straining the product.
Carefully smooth out any wrinkles on the upper and sole, hang them on clothespins while maintaining their shape, and dry them in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. By smoothing out any wrinkles while drying, the beautiful finish will be maintained and there will be no need to iron them later.

*Please avoid using bleach and tumble drying.
*If using a washing machine, place in a net and wash on a weak water flow (such as the hand wash cycle).
*If you use an iron, place a pressing cloth on the garment and iron at a low temperature to remove wrinkles. If you iron the garment while it is still slightly damp before it is completely dry, the wrinkles will be easier to remove.
