This pair of zori is made using “HAKU,” an upholstery textile developed by the Danish textile brand Kvadrat in collaboration with designer Teruhiro Yanagihara.
“HAKU” is a water-resistant textile known for its durability and ease of maintenance, allowing dirt to be wiped away easily. A thin coating applied to the fabric gives it both a soft, supple touch and excellent durability. It is also designed without the use of PVC or PFC (fluorinated water-repellent chemicals), reflecting consideration for environmental impact.
White footwear can often show signs of wear and staining over time, but HAKU’s water-resistant and easy-care qualities make it comparatively easy to maintain, allowing it to be worn comfortably in everyday settings.
Footwear crafted with HAKU can be worn effortlessly as part of daily dress—becoming a dependable pair that accompanies you for years to come.
