The tabi socks proposed by Sekizuka are made with carefully selected materials and tailoring, as beautiful accessories that complement footwear.
We imagine footwear that is perfect for milestones in life or special days when we spend time with loved ones, and we tailor our shoes using fabrics selected based on their background and characteristics.

This fabric is made from washi silk habutae, woven in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture. The unique habutae weave, which uses two warp threads, gives the fabric a fluffy, airy appearance, and combines the smoothness and elegant luster of untwisted raw silk with the strength and just the right amount of matte finish that only washi paper can provide.

It has a subdued luster and dignified appearance that cannot be achieved with silk alone.

They subtly enhance your outfit on special occasions and are perfect for your feet on days when you are the center of attention, such as weddings, ceremonies, and formal visits.

These shoes also make a great gift for someone celebrating an important milestone.

*Due to the characteristics of the material, washing with water will cause shrinkage of approximately 5 mm.
The more you wear them, the more they will gradually become comfortable on your feet.

We recommend hand washing.
First, gently remove dust and dirt with a brush, then wash gently with a mild detergent, pressing gently.
After rinsing thoroughly, squeeze the product between your hands to remove excess water. Do not squeeze too hard as this may cause the product to lose its shape. By squeezing the product between towels, you can remove excess water without straining the product.
Carefully smooth out any wrinkles on the upper and sole, hang them on clothespins while maintaining their shape, and dry them in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. By smoothing out any wrinkles while drying, the beautiful finish will be maintained and there will be no need to iron them later.

*Please avoid using bleach and tumble drying.
*If using a washing machine, place in a net and wash on a weak water flow (such as the hand wash cycle).
*If you use an iron, place a pressing cloth on the garment and iron it at a low temperature to remove wrinkles. If you iron it while it is still slightly damp before it is completely dry, the wrinkles will be easier to remove.
