We will be holding an exhibition by Ami Masamitsu.
I feel a sense of transience in jewelry.
Transience is beautiful.
It is easily damaged and breaks easily.
There is also the risk of losing it completely.
Although it is small, it has a big presence.
Because of the small scale,
High sensitivity to mass and thickness.
This is especially true for gold, which is highly valuable.
That's why jewelry is so interesting.

At "Section AA' at Iwakura AA," we will be showcasing a new jewelry ring with a cross-section design. Section AA' refers to the cross-section of a blueprint.
This new attempt at designing the ring from a cross section visualizes its mass and thickness, resulting in a design that is different from conventional designs.
If you remove your preconceptions and observe things from every angle, you will discover shapes you never imagined.
We hope you will use this exhibition as an opportunity to think about your own perspective.
All of AMI MASAMITSU's jewelry will be on display and available for order at this exhibition.
Ami Masamitsu
Masamitsu Ami After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, she moved to the UK.
After studying jewelry design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she started AMI MASAMITSU in 2017.
While handling everything from design to production himself, he is also involved in directing corporate jewelry brands.
He returned to Japan from London in 2021 and is currently based in Kyoto.
