In the old days in Japan, it must have been a very common thing to do, to have footwear made easily.
I'm not expecting some grand miracle, like kids seeing my work wanting to make footwear and becoming craftsmen in the future, but I do hope that in the future there will be some smaller, more moving experiences.
Someone told me, "It's nice to look at."
I had never thought about having a job that I felt comfortable in before, so it felt like the quality of my work had expanded dramatically.
