Provecho

This exhibition will feature items collected by three artists, Shinichiro Nakahara, Yuhi Ozaki, and Shinji Sekizuka, during their travels in the United States and Mexico.

Everyday, we move, choose, collect, buy, sell, make...
The three of them embarked on a hot and steamy journey.
Tokyo → Los Angeles → Albuquerque → Taos → Dallas → Mexico City → Oaxaca → Los Angeles → Joshua Tree
The things you collect while traveling to various regions are like memories of your travels, and when you think that they might end up in someone else's hands, your memories of your travels may come flooding back.
I want to be careful not to turn this into a gathering to talk about memories under the guise of selling the things we have collected.

"Provecho" is a pleasant greeting exchanged in rural restaurants in Oaxaca.
It means "Take it easy."

Please come and visit Iwakura in early autumn.

*A special taco stand will be set up in front of the store from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on September 16th!
Let's toast with some mezcal or a margarita!
(If you plan to drink alcohol, please come outside of your car.)
Drinks will be provided by Dar, who runs sumi, suba, and Solires! They were prepared at short notice for the exhibition.

Provecho!!
