MAN-TLE Mud dyeing

mantle
Bags, shirts, caps... The standard line, available in off-white, has been beautifully and boldly dyed by Kanai Kogei of Amami Oshima in the colors of the earth on which we live, using the power of the soil and the wheel plum tree.

Most of the fabrics used in the clothes made by MAN-TLE, which operates in Australia, are made in Japan.
This exhibition will be an exquisite compilation of the wonderful Japanese fabrics selected by MAN-TLE and the dyeing techniques of Amami Oshima, which have a history of 1,300 years.

At this exhibition, you can choose your favorite finish from several dyed patterns and create a one-of-a-kind item.

Wearing mud-dyed clothing, a unique dyeing technique in the world, will give you an opportunity to reflect on our human senses as we coexist with nature.
We look forward to your visit.

On the final day of the event (Wednesday, March 20th), MAN-TLE's Ida Kim and Lars Harry will also be at the Iwakura store.
